Your privacy on spectaria.com
Last updated: 15 July 2026.
Scope
This notice concerns the public marketing website at spectaria.com. It does not describe Spectaria Studio, museum deployments, anonymous museum-session indicators or services operated for a particular institution.
Essential server and hosting logs
The static hosting platform and network providers may create technical request logs containing information such as an IP address, time, requested path, browser identifier, response status and referrer. These records are used for security, reliability, abuse prevention and troubleshooting.
Optional self-hosted analytics
With your permission, Spectaria uses a self-hosted Matomo installation at analytics.diogo.site to understand aggregate use of this website. Matomo may process page addresses and titles, referrers, approximate location derived from an anonymised IP address, device and browser information, and an analytics visitor identifier.
Analytics remains disabled until you select Allow analytics. Rejecting analytics does not restrict access to the website. The data is not used for advertising, sold to third parties or combined into cross-site profiles.
Detailed visitor data should be retained for no more than 180 days. Aggregated reports may be retained for longer.
Cookies and your choice
Klaro stores a necessary consent-choice cookie named spectaria_privacy. If analytics is allowed, Matomo may store first-party cookies whose names begin with _pk_.
Contact and rights
Privacy questions and data-protection requests may be sent to hello@spectaria.com. Depending on the circumstances, you may have rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection and complaint to the competent supervisory authority.
